The government will revise the service charges related to the postal service

KATHMANDU: The Council of Ministers on December 22 took a series of decisions, including the revision of service charges for the postal service and foreign courier services.

Unveiling the decisions of the meeting on Friday, the Minister of Communication and Information Technology, Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, announced that Mahashram Sharma had been appointed chairman of the National Examinations Council.

Likewise, the government has decided to establish an Industry and Investment Promotion Fund in accordance with the Industrial Enterprise Law-2076 BS, Minister Karki, who is also the government spokesperson, informed.

The decision includes approving in principle the wording of the Legislation Bill and prior authorization for a survey of organization and management under the Ministry of Land, Cooperatives and Fight against poverty.

Minister Karki shared that the Cabinet meeting discussed the full shaping of the Nepal Red Cross Society.
