Qatar Airways has announced its intention to increase frequency on its Dublin-Doha route from the start of summer timetables.
The Gulf carrier is currently operating a daily service to and from the Irish capital, and will increase this to ten flights per week from March 27, with the following schedules:
- The QR17 leaves Doha at 07:55 and arrives in Dublin at 13:25
- QR18 leaves Dublin at 2.55pm and arrives in Doha at 11.55pm
Monday, Thursday and Sunday
- QR19 leaves Doha at 1:20 a.m. and arrives in Dublin at 6:50 a.m.
- The QR20 leaves Dublin at 08:20 and arrives in Doha at 17:20
Qatar Airways has served Dublin since June 2017.
Qatar Airways to launch Dublin service
The carrier’s country manager for the UK and Ireland, Gary Kershaw, said demand for international flights and travel was “coming back into full swing”, adding that “we are absolutely delighted to be able to offer our departing passengers from Dublin more choice on how and when They fly”.
“We look forward to seeing these changes take effect later this year, a time that will mark another milestone in the travel industry’s post-pandemic recovery,” Kershaw said.
Major Gulf carriers are regularly rebuilding frequencies on UK and Irish routes, with Emirates this week adding a second daily service to Gatwick.
