INKI.TECH – the world’s first all-inclusive Device-on-Demand service

INKI is the world’s first all-inclusive on-demand device service for businesses, allowing them to easily rent equipment such as laptops, tablets and phones. INKI turns ownership and management of these devices into a monthly subscription that includes maintenance, insurance and data security, as part of the service. With the flexible contract, devices can be changed or upgraded at any time as the business grows.

INKI’s business model is designed to meet the challenges of device ownership. Internal device management is expensive and inefficient. Many companies do not insure or secure their devices, which leads to the risk of data loss and repair and replacement costs. INKI uses state-of-the-art mobile device management and comprehensive insurance giving businesses peace of mind knowing their devices and data are safe.

EU businesses spend around €35 billion on mobile devices every year, while 77% of the phones, tablets and laptops they buy end up becoming obsolete without being recycled or refurbished. This is an incredible waste compared to INKI’s Device-as-a-Service model which guarantees that all returned devices will be refurbished, redeployed and ultimately recycled. This means businesses can easily upgrade their devices to the latest models knowing they are operating in a circular economy.

INKI has four founding members: Liviu Huluță, Cristian Darie, Károly Kiss and Andrew Shailer-Smith, with a combined experience of more than 40 years in the mobile distribution and insurance market. The idea was born from the observation that the ownership of devices does not correspond to the needs of modern companies. Businesses need robust data management, fast device replacement, and immediate access to upgrades while being aware of their impact on the environment.

“Companies are increasingly looking to outsource non-essential activities so they can focus their time, effort and resources on growing their business. Our rapid growth since our founding in 2020 is resounding confirmation from our customers that owning devices is no longer a good choice for modern, fast-paced businesses. We pride ourselves on supporting our customers by providing a premium service that gives them more time, better devices, and increased agility. said Liviu Huluță, CEO.

INKI currently serves businesses in several countries, many of which operate remotely. They represent various verticals, from real estate to IT, and are linked by their dynamic and accelerated growth. As for device preferences, they are frequently interested in new Apple devices, especially those powered by the new line of chipsets, as well as new 5G mobile phones.

INKI is a pioneer of the circular economy in Central and Eastern Europe, with a strategic objective of zero production of electronic waste. Phones, laptops and tablets rented through INKI are returned to the company and then put through an extensive refurbishment process.
