IHG’s Voco brand tests personalized “Turn Up” service

IHG Hotels and Resorts’ Voco hotel brand is testing a new bespoke ‘Turn Up’ service at select properties in the UK.

The brand is offering more personalized service to guests for an additional £40 per night at Voco Oxford Thames, Voco St David’s, Cardiff and Voco Grand Central Glasgow for stays until May 27, 2022.

The product was launched following recent findings from a national survey. Half of those surveyed agreed that an accessible and personalized experience is more important than ever in a post-pandemic world, while more than two-thirds of travelers prioritize high-quality service when booking a resort.

Additionally, a quarter (24%) of respondents said they wanted afternoon tea in bed, while 30% wanted hotels to offer late-night comfort food as part of their menus. room service.

All three properties offer guests their favorite drinks and snacks upon arrival; access to a library of books; enhanced relaxing shower/bath experience; and a Nespresso machine in the room with chocolate accord. The Glasgow and Oxford properties also offer a menu for late-night cravings, while the Oxford hotel also offers portable speakers.
